Operators, safety devices, frozen tracks, hinges, keypads and intercoms — residential and commercial, any manufacturer. Most repairs done in one visit from the truck.
Any automatic gate, any brand, residential or commercial. Most repairs are done in one visit from the truck.
Dead board, blown fuse, failed motor or capacitor, bad limit switches. We diagnose on site and carry common LiftMaster parts on the truck.
Photo eyes out of alignment, edge sensor fault, or the obstruction setting tripping on ice. Usually a 30-minute fix.
Ground-track gates packed with ice, sagging leaves scraping the driveway, rollers seized with grit. We free it and tell you how to stop it happening again.
Worn cantilever trucks, failed swing hinges, bent guide rollers. Replaced with parts rated for the gate's real weight.
Dead keypads, lost remotes, intercoms that won't connect. Replace, reprogram, or upgrade to app control.
Bent panels, racked posts, snapped arms. We straighten what can be saved and fabricate what can't.
We install LiftMaster on new work, but we repair everything we're called to. If it has a motor, we've probably had one apart.
Tell us the symptom, the gate type and the operator brand if you know it. A photo helps.
We test the operator, safety devices, wiring and hardware and tell you what's wrong and what it costs before touching anything.
Most repairs are done from the truck the same visit. If a part has to be ordered, we secure the gate and come back.
We'll tell you honestly if the gate needs a maintenance plan, a part upgrade, or if it's time to replace it.
Sometimes the honest answer is that a gate has reached the end. Here's how we call it.
A gate that's serviced before winter almost never becomes an emergency call in January.
Annual or twice-yearly service: lubrication, safety test, hardware check, battery and heater check before the cold.
A free walk of your perimeter, gates and access points with a written list of what needs attention and what doesn't.
Manual gate you'd rather not get out of the truck for? We add operators to existing gates.
Yes. Most of our repair work is on gates other companies installed, including brands we don't sell. If it has an operator, we service it.
Yes. If a gate is stuck open, stuck closed across a driveway, or a barrier arm is down across an entrance, call 204-894-9071 and say it's an emergency. After-hours calls carry an emergency rate, which we'll confirm on the phone.
Nine times out of ten it's a safety device: photo eyes out of alignment, a snow drift or ice in the beam path, or an edge sensor fault. The operator sees an obstruction and refuses to close. It's usually a quick fix, but don't bypass the safety devices yourself.
If it runs on a ground track, the track is the problem and no amount of servicing fixes frost. We can often convert it to a cantilever on the existing posts. If it's already a cantilever, frozen trucks or a weak operator are usually the cause and are repairable.
A diagnostic visit in Winnipeg is a flat rate, credited toward the repair, and we confirm it when you call. Common fixes — photo eyes, limit switches, remotes, hinges — are usually done the same visit; operator replacements are quoted on site before any work starts.
Usually. We stock common LiftMaster parts and can source for most brands sold in Manitoba over the last 20 years. If a model is truly discontinued, we'll tell you and quote a replacement operator that fits your existing gate.
